After the truck leaves
The job went fine. Then the week got weird.
Notes never made it back into the system. The next booking lived in someone's head. Invoice chase started three days late because nobody closed the loop.
This is not a wrench problem. It is the hour after the truck leaves.
A careful close-out prompts the admin path: capture the note, queue the invoice, book the follow-up when there is one. Exceptions still get a human. The craft stays with your people.
If your shop is busy on the road and messy in the office, that gap is usually where the hours hide.
